The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Support or Food Stamps, helps individuals and families afford the cost of food at grocery stores and farmers’ markets. The program is designed to supplement a family or individual’s income by providing money that can be spent on food.

CAPSH helps individuals apply for the program. We explain the application process, help people decide if the program is right for them, and assist with the completion of the application.
