Provides 72 hours of shelter care for children up to age six for families who are dealing with stress or crisis and need time away from children to stabilize themselves. There is no fee for this service, and advocates are available to assist the family in locating resources.

GMDCA helps eligible parents in Hennepin County who are working or in school pay for child care. Some of these programs may have waiting lists or may be administered by other agencies. Parents should call GMDCA or visit their website for more information.
